Warrant

A contractual right to acquire shares at an exercise price before expiration. Terms may include adjustments, cashless exercise, resets, calls, and ownership blockers.

Calculation framework

Fixed potential shares = warrants outstanding × shares per warrant, after split and anti-dilution adjustmentsIllustrative cashless shares = warrants × (market value − exercise price) ÷ market value; the agreement controls

What traders should verify

Track outstanding count, strike, expiry, exercisability, cashless conditions, resets, registration, blockers, exchange caps, and disclosed exercises.

Do not conflate

In-the-money does not mean exercised, and registered warrant shares are not automatically outstanding.
